PORTSOY BOTHY KNITTERS

Back later in the year! 🎄

!I am delighted to have a wonderful collaboration with the ladies of Portsoy Bothy Knitters.

This amazing group of local ladies knit, crochet and weave using donated yarn. They make everything from baby beanies to huge crochet blankets and everything in between.

To help with their efforts to raise funds for charities local and national, I will be featuring several of their products and sell their produce through my website shop in 2024.

The message this group sends is sustsainability. They buy nothing!! The group uses donated yarn from families and businesses in and around Portsoy. The yarn is then converted into usable clothes, accessories and blankets. Some to sell and some to donate. Several of the ladies have knitted 1000’s of baby beanies, donated to the local maternity unit.

This ethos sits very well with my Highland Tweedery carbon footprint message.

Most items will have the maker’s photograph beside it. All the ladies are incredibly talented, with decades of skills learned from their families before them.

New cosy stock just arrived. Suitable for everyone.

How cosy will you be wearing one of these!
